PGA rampas 3.24 tan ketum

Komander PGA Briged Utara, Senior Asisten Komisioner Abdul Ghani Mohd Ji berkata, dalam serbuan 1.21 pagi itu, pihaknya turut merampas sebuah kereta yang ditinggalkan penyeludup.

“Pihak kami bertindak di atas maklumat risikan bahawa terdapat dua rumah dijadikan sebagai port untuk menyimpan daun ketum sebelum diseludup. “Ketika serbuan dilakukan, terdapat sekumpulan lelaki yang berkumpul di hadapan rumah berkenaan namun mereka bertempiaran lari sejurus menyedari kehadiran anggota,” katanya ketika dihubungi, hari ini.“30 guni lagi sudah dimuatkan di dalam kereta yang diletakkan di hadapan rumah terbabit.

“Pihak kami percaya kesemua daun ketum berkenaan akan diseludup keluar ke negara jiran memandangkan permintaannya yang tinggi di sana,” katanya.
