As the government has now allowed restaurants to open from 6am to 10pm effective Monday , Khairul Annuar said petrol stations, including the convenience stores, should be allowed to operate from 6am to 10pm too. “Operations including the convenience store should be allowed to open at 6am as people will want to go to the ATM, or top-up their Touch 'N' Go and others when they are on their way to work.
Under the Miti’s guidelines for petrol stations during the lockdown period, they are allowed to operate from 6am to 8pm except for petrol stations on the highway that are allowed to operate for 24 hours.
