The PH presidential council said it would only join the committee proposed by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin if Parliament resumes before August 1.

On Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s proposal to set up a committee to study the reconvening of Parliament, the council said it would only join the committee provided that Parliament sittings resume before August 1. PH reiterated its hope that Parliament should reconvene as soon as possible to uphold the wishes of the King and the Malay Rulers.
