: Mahkamah Tinggi di sini hari ini memerintahkan seorang bekas pegawai polis membayar RM820,000 kepada dua wanita warga Mongolia bagi persetubuhan tanpa kerelaan di dua bilik hotel semasa negara melaksanakan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan empat tahun lepas.
“Setelah mempertimbangkan keterangan saksi dan hujahan yang tidak dipertikaikan dan tidak dicabar, saya mendapati plaintif telah membuktikan defendan melakukan persetubuhan tanpa kerelaan dengan kedua-dua plaintif, sekurang-kurangnya enam kali dengan salah seorang wanita dan dua kali dengan wanita kedua,” katanya.
Bagi wanita Mongolia kedua pula hakim memerintahkan defendan membayar ganti rugi RM360,000 yang merangkumi RM160,000 sebagai ganti rugi am bagi kesalahan mendatangkan kecederaan dan untuk pemenjaraan palsu serta RM200,000 untuk ganti rugi teruk dan teladan.“Sebagaimana arahan tegas yang dikeluarkan mahkamah, perbicaraan berjalan dengan sewajarnya dan pada akhir perbicaraan, plaintif memfailkan hujahan bertulis dan hujahan lisan yang telah dikemukakan kepada mahkamah,” kata hakim itu.
