Perlis is considering a ban on the use of plastic bags though no specific measures have been implemented yet.

KANGAR: The Perlis government is mulling a ban on the use of plastic bags and polystyrene, says State Natural Resources and Environment Committee chairman Teh Chai Ann.“For the time being, the state government has implemented a campaign banning the use of plastic bags and polystyrene every Saturday as a starting measure,” he said when asked by Gan Ay Ling why the use of polystyrene was still not banned in the state.Subscribe to our newsletter and get news delivered to your mailbox.
