Perlis govt eyes administration of 2,600 Covid shots daily

KANGAR, June 18 — The Perlis government is targeting 2,600 people to receive the Covid-19 vaccine jab each day so as to achieve 80 per cent herd immunity by the end of the year,” said State Secretary Azman Mohd Yusof.

“As of yesterday , a total of 50,879 people of 28.08 per cent of the 250,000 people of Perlis have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.
