Wildlife and National Parks Department acts after pictures go viral on Facebook.

The individuals pictured with the carcass of the clouded leopard at Kampung Kemuning in Alor Gajah, Melaka.

Melaka Perhilitan director Mohd Hasdi Husin said the individuals spotted in a picture with the carcass of the clouded leopard – listed as “vulnerable” in the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List – have been urged to go to the Perhilitan office to help determine the cause of the animal’s death.
