“Menteri Besar Johor Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi ada bertanya mengenai insentif sempena JS-SEZ, antara permintaannya termasuklah ‘tax holiday’ . Mungkin itu boleh dipertimbangkan. Sementara itu, Ahmad Zahid dalam ucapannya ketika merasmikan program itu menyarankan pengusaha produk halal tempatan mengambil peluang terhadap pasaran domestik China melibatkan seramai 1.4 bilion penduduk.
“Ini kerana produk halal bukan sahaja bersesuaian untuk masyarakat Muslim tetapi kerana kandungan, proses dan kebersihannya melalui ujian saintifik, ia turut diterima penganut bukan Islam di negara itu,“ katanya.
