IPOH: Perakians can now make payments through online services throughout the lockdown period.

said the services include paying for assessment tax, rental, licence and parking compound.

"For now, there are 11 local governments, including Ipoh City Council, whereby people can also lodge public reports or complaints through our websites.and choose e-payment to pay their assessment tax, compound, licences, bills and rentals,” he said, adding that the council can also be contacted via their social media platform such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.

Rumaizi said among other local governments in the state that provide the same services are Taiping, Manjung, Teluk Intan and Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council, Batu Gajah, Kampar, Tapah, Selama, Kerian and Perak Tengah District Council. “For Ipoh City Council, we also provide Jompay and Maybank2u services,” he said, adding that the council can also be contacted at 05-363 2020 or 05-244 1515
