He said the collection from today’s auction held at the RTD state office here was up by 10 times compared to the auction held in April where the takings were RM120,400.The highest price of RM35,000 was for a Honda Integra, while the lowest was for a motorcycle sold for RM50. Meanwhile, a buyer, Abdul Rahim Yatim, 57, who runs a used car business in Taiping, said he bought nine cars valued at almost RM100,000.
He added that he not only buying auctioned cars from Perak RTD, but also at the department’s auction in Johor, Kelantan, Kedah and Perlis. Another used car dealer Abdullah Husin, 45, from Kelantan, said he has been buying cars at RTD auctions. –Bernama
