PUTRAJAYA: The rape case involving former Perak executive council member Paul Yong and an Indonesian maid will be heard before the Ipoh High Court.
In the unanimous decision, Tengku Maimun said the court had read the written submissions filed by the parties involved. The apex court also vacated the dates that had been previously fixed at the Ipoh Sessions Court and set Dec 21 for mention at the Ipoh High Court. Earlier, Yong’s lawyer Datuk Rajpal Singh and deputy public prosecutor K. Mangai confirmed to the court that both sides had agreed on the transfer.
