Saarani yang juga Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan Umno Perak berkata, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri kerajaan termasuk anggota Exco bersifat profesional dalam menguruskan pentadbiran kerajaan negeri.
“Kita bukan tak nak penyatuan tetapi ia mestilah berasaskan kepada keikhlasan, antara Pas dan UMNO masa Muafakat Nasional dibuktikan keikhlasan di mana kerusi UMNO bertanding Pas tak bertanding, di mana Pas bertanding, UMNO sokong Pas.
