JERAI: Penangguhan pilihan raya bagi kawasan Parlimen Padang Serai selepas salah seorang calon yang bertanding di kerusi itu meninggal dunia dilihat bakal memberi kelebihan kepada Barisan Nasional .
“Kita ada ruang yang sangat baik kerana berdasarkan tujuh pilihan raya kecil yang dilalui bermula Cameron Highlands hingga ke yang terakhir di kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri Slim, tumpuan seluruh jentera terarah ke kawasan itu. Semalam, Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya menetapkan pengundian Pilihan Raya Umum Ke-15 bagi kerusi Parlimen Padang Serai, ditunda kepada 7 Disember ini.
Dalam pada itu, Jamil Khir yang juga calon Barisan Nasional Parlimen Jerai berkata, pemerhatian terhadap proses pengundian berjalan lancar dengan cuaca dilaporkan baik.
