KUALA LUMPUR: Pihak pendakwaan dalam kes Najib Razak yang didakwa atas 7 tuduhan berhubung SRC International berjumlah RM42 juta, hari ini memohon perbicaraan kes dana 1MDB yang dihadapi bekas perdana menteri itu ditunda bagi membolehkan kes SRC diselesaikan terlebih dahulu.
Timbalan Pendakwa Raya, Muhammad Izzat Fauzan dalam afidavit yang diikrarkan bersama notis usul itu berkata perbicaraan kes SRC bermula 3 April lepas sehingga 10 Mei ini di hadapan Hakim Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali dan sehingga kini, pihak pendakwaan memanggil 21 saksi pendakwaan. “Hakim Nazlan juga memaklumkan beliau tiada bantahan untuk meneruskan perbicaraan kes SRC pada tarikh yang dijadualkan untuk perbicaraan kes 1MDB dengan syarat Hakim Sequerah menunda perbicaraan kes berkenaan,” katanya dalam afidavit.
