Penang residents upset with increasing Airbnb activity

RESIDENTS at Gurney Park in George Town, Penang have expressed concerns over the growth of Airbnb operations in their housing area. They are upset with the invasion of their privacy by tenants who keep changing frequently as many of them are short-term visitors and tourists, said Penang Chant Residents’ Association adviser Yan Lee.
