Penang on the hunt for waste dumpers in viral video

Penang Island City Council CCTV footage showing the two men dumping pails of waste from a lorry into the ocean from a private car park in Jalan Farquhar, George Town, yesterday. – April 20, 2019.

ABOUT 2pm yesterday, two men were caught on video dumping pails of construction waste into the sea from a private car park on Jalan Farquhar, George Town. It did not take long for the video, which has since gone viral, to reach the Penang Island City Council and the state government, which were incensed over the offence.
