Its chairman, Patrick Ooi, said according to the party’s plan, it will be contesting six state and two parliamentary seats in Penang. “Now PFP has about 5,000 members throughout the country, and we hope PFP will receive support as we want reforms for the people in the north, especially in Penang,” he told reporters when met at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission head office in George Town today.
In GE14, PFP contested in 12 state seats and a parliamentary seat in Penang but it lost in all the seats as well as its deposits.He said PFP is also prepared to cooperate with other parties, including Barisan Nasional, Perikatan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan.
