JOHOR BAHRU: Pembelian panik dalam kalangan masyarakat dipercayai antara faktor utama berlakunya kekurangan bekalan beras tempatan dalam pasaran di negeri ini.
“Saya mahu perbetulkan persepsi rakyat Johor, untuk makluman tidak berlaku kekurangan kritikal bekalan beras di negeri ini kerana stok bekalan melebihi penggunaan. “Itu secara tidak langsung menyebabkan berlakunya kekurangan bekalan beras tempatan di negeri ini, disebabkan berlakunya pembelian panik dalam kalangan masyarakat,” katanya selepas merasmikan Program Jualan Agro Madani di Pasar Tani Kekal Jalan Datin Halimah, di sini hari ini yang turut dihadiri Pengarah Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup Negeri Johor, Lilis Saslinda Pornomo.
Dalam pada itu, beliau memaklumkan bahawa pihak berkuasa tidak menerima sebarang aduan tentang ada pihak yang menyorok bekalan beras di negeri ini.
