Terdahulu, pendakwaan menawarkan jaminan RM10,000.00 dengan seorang penjamin tempatan selain beberapa syarat tambahan termasuk tertuduh dikehendaki melapor diri di pejabat SPRM Tawau dua kali sebulan dan pasport diserahkan kepada mahkamah selain dilarang mengganggu saksi pendakwaan.
