PETALING JAYA: Pearly Tan’s worst fears that she had sustained a career-threatening injury have been put to rest.
The Badminton Association of Malaysia high performance director Dr Tim Jones said the magnetic resonance imaging was done on Monday after Pearly had undergone the compulsory Covid-19 test. “She went for the MRI yesterday afternoon. It was confirmed to be a knee strain and hamstring tear,” said Jones.
“It’s a relief as it could have been worse. It will heal fine but just needs time and progressive rehabilitation.”
