KOTA KINABALU: Despite losing in all 73 seats it contested in, the two-month-old Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) respects the decision of the voters in the snap polls, says its president Datuk Seri Anifah Aman.

KOTA KINABALU: Despite losing in all 73 seats it contested in, the two-month-old Parti Cinta Sabah respects the decision of the voters in the snap polls, says its president Datuk Seri Anifah Aman .

He said PCS felt humbled by the defeat, but was still proud of Sabahans for fulfilling their electoral responsibility. “Our party is barely two months old. We still received support in terms of votes despite losing. The numbers may be small, but they are sufficient for a party with a long-term struggle, ” he said in a statement yesterday.

Anifah, who is the brother of former chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman and was formerly from Umno, hoped that party members would continue to champion the rights of Sabahans. — Bernama
