TRONOH assemblyman Paul Yong told the High Court in Ipoh today the rape charge for which he is currently on trial was part of political manoeuvring to bring down the Pakatan Harapan government in Perak. He said there had been rumours that a motion of no confidence would be brought against the menteri besar as part of a move to bring down the then PH government and remove him from his position as state executive councillor.
