PAS to reveal all documents on its settlement with Sarawak Report

PAS secretary general Takiyuddin Hassan says the party had submitted all his bank statements to MACC.

PUTRAJAYA: PAS is set to reveal all documents regarding the out-of-court settlement between Abdul Hadi Awang and Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown, said PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan.“I am a lawyer. I will present all the evidence,” he told reporters outside the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission office today.

Earlier, Takiyuddin took close to five hours to give his statement to MACC regarding claims that PAS had received RM90 million from 1MDB.Last night, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim claimed he had bank documents proving that PAS paid RM1.4 million to Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown for their out-of-court settlement.“He has to show us. In my earlier statement, all of PAS Central’s bank account details, from January 2015 to December 2018, were given to MACC.
