KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah yang diketuai bekas menteri persekutuan, Joseph Kurup, belum memutuskan jika ia mahu bekerjasama dengan PPBM pimpinan Dr Mahathir Mohamad, demi manfaat rakyat.“Lagipun, tak salah untuk bekerjasama dengan mereka. Kami boleh berkhidmat lebih baik kepada rakyat. PPBM berada dalam kerajaan bermakna mereka boleh menawarkan banyak perkara kepada rakyat,” katanya selepas sambutan ulang tahun ke-25 parti itu di sini, malam tadi.
“Jika kita sertai , maka kita perlu menyokong semua perkara ini yang rakyat tidak puas hati. Ketika ini, keadaan politik masih tidak stabil. Perkara terbaik yang kita boleh buat ialah tunggu dan lihat. Kita perlu tahu bagaimana semua masalah ini ditangani.” Kurup yang sebelum ini membawa parti itu meninggalkan Barisan Nasional, susulan kekalahan mengejut gabungan itu dalam pilihan raya umum Mei 2018, dilaporkan berkata beliau mahu bekerjasama dengan parti pemerintah Sabah, Warisan.
