KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak sudah menyerahkan jawapan bertulis kepada Yang Dipertua Dewan Rakyat, Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun mengenai kenyataannya berkaitan isu 1Malaysia Development Berhad yang didakwa mengelirukan dewan sebelum ini.
Pada 3 Mac lalu, blok pembangkang mengemukakan usul supaya Ahli Parlimen Pekan itu dirujuk ke Jawatankuasa Hak dan Kebebasan Parlimen kerana mengeluarkan kenyataan mengelirukan Dewan Rakyat. Ia berikutan kenyataan dibuat Najib sehari sebelum itu mendakwa tidak ada satu sen pun wang rakyat digunakan untuk membayar prinsipal hutang 1MDB.
Bagaimanapun, Azhar Azizan sebelum ini berkata, Najib tidak mengingkari arahannya meskipun tidak menjelaskan isu 1MDB seperti diarahkan sebelum ini.
