Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital, Fahmi Fadzil berkata, harga baharu untuk 2023 adalah RM254.64 sebulan dengan mengambil contoh harga perkhidmatan borong jalur lebar berkelajuan tinggi 100 Mbps.“Oleh yang demikian, ia dapat mengurangkan kos kepada penerima perkhidmatan capaian yang terlibat dalam menyediakan perkhidmatan jalur lebar tetap kepada pengguna.
“Secara tidak langsung, perkhidmatan yang diberi kepada pengguna di peringkat runcit boleh ditawarkan pada harga yang lebih rendah dan berdaya saing atau pada kelajuan yang lebih tinggi,” katanya di Dewan Rakyat, hari ini. Terdahulu, Khoo Poay Tiong meminta menteri menjelaskan mengenai MASP yang dilaksanakan bermula 1 Mac 2023.- UTUSAN
