Parliament is calmer now thanks to MOU, says PM

Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the Dewan Rakyat sitting and general political situation was"calmer" now that the Memorandum of Understanding on Transformation and Political Stability is in place.

In a recent interview with"senior editors", Ismail Sabri said he expected the opposition to continue playing their role by providing check and balance.

Mmmm. Thats not the point of Parliament. To be peaceful n quiet. That only happens in dictatorships n facist regimes when no debate, no opposition is voiced... Parliament is a place of holding the govt of day accountable. Peaceful doesbt bode well..😬

Calmer because empty seats on government side. Go see, even yours mostly.

Parliament is calmer, maybe. But out there the rakyat is seething with anger seeing how this govt to freeing up and rewarding the corrupt ones. Do not think the rakyat is stupid. And don't come begging for their votes when the GE comes around. The rakyat will not forget!

Its easier to steer a herd of 'cows'..All they need food and their 'special needs'..The very reason to 'calm' nature..But this will be the gravest mistake if opposition blinks their eyes for a moment..Another '1MDB' like disaster will set Msia to Stone Age..maybe even Dino age..
