Senior Minister Ismail Sabri warns public against sharing fake news featuring videos and pictures of the government, which he said has been edited and taken out of context.
In confirming this, Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, however, that he could not reveal the agenda and what else was discussed during the meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office . Ismail added that many pictures and videos of the government now circulating on the internet had been edited and taken out of context. He warned the public to be wary of spreading fake news, as it might confuse people further.
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan, MIC president S Vigneswaran, International Trade and Industry Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali and National Unity Minister Halimah Mohamed Sadique were among those who had attended the meeting.Meanwhile, Barisan Nasional MPs held a separate meeting at the Putra World Trade Centre this afternoon.
