RANAU: Over 5,000 people attended the Minister of Finance, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun’s Aidilfitri open house at the community hall, here, Saturday.

Guests flocked in from all over the State, some from as far as the East Coast, Interior, as well as guests from Peninsular Malaysia and other countries.“I am glad to see that we are able to cater to all guests with our Ranau hospitality and what is unique about our open house is that all the food is prepared by our Wanita and Beliawanis of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Karanaan Division.

“Today’s event is also the embodiment and manifestation of the true culture of Ranau people, where people of all ages, religions, and races come together to Gotong-Royong and help wherever they can to make today a success,” said Masidi, who is also the Karanaan Assemblyman and PGRS Karanaan Division Chief.
