PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong on Saturday (June 18) spent his day mingling and helping the people of Ayer Hitam.

Dr Wee who is the Ayer Hitam MP first had the opportunity to attend a wedding ceremony in Kampung Parit Haji Dahlan Yong Peng.

"My first programme is the wedding ceremony of the children of Ismail Sarmi and Jamilah Alias in Kg Parit Haji Dahlan, Yong Peng."Congratulations to the newlyweds, Nurelya Erma Ismail and her partner Ahmad Hafizi Ahmad Johari.Also with him on his visit was Yong Peng Adun and Johor exco Ling Tian Soon.

Dr Wee also took the opportunity to pay a visit and lend a helping hand to Azhar Mohd Othman, a patient with a chronic illness. "Hopefully with our presence today we can cheer Azhar up. Let's pray for his speedy recovery," he said in another Facebook post.
