Orang Asli berkata mereka terus berdepan kehilangan tanah adat kerana kurangnya pengiktirafan oleh pentadbiran terdahulu.

Tok batin Mohamad Nohing ketika berucapa pada Konvensyen Orang Asli Kebangsaan yang dihadiri Perdana Menteri Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Bercakap ketika pelancaran Konvensyen Orang Asli Kebangsaan, yang dihadiri Perdana Menteri Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Mohamad Nohing berkata 250,000 daripada komuniti itu ketinggalan jauh di belakang berbanding masyarakat lain. Nohing menyuarakan harapan agar kerajaan akan mengutamakan pembangunan di kawasan luar bandar, termasuk menyediakan jalan raya, elektrik, air bersih dan membaiki sekolah usang.
