PBB vice president Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah says GPS has the final decision on seat allocations for component parties. ― Bernama picKUCHING, May 24 — Gabungan Parti Sarawak has the final decision on seat allocations for component parties, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu vice president Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said today.
“If you want to open up, then you must be sure whether you can sustain in you own area,” he said, saying that ‘your party might even be completely wiped out, if you are not careful’. Karim said he welcomes PDP to contest in his Asajaya state constituency or “we can contest in your areas because it is an open game.”
“It is a very strong statement and personally I feel that the only person who can answer and solve the matter is Tiong himself, but if we look at Sarawak, before every state or federal elections, we rely on the final decision made by the coalition parties, before this it was the Barisan Nasional and after 2018, by GPS,” he said.
