Muallim OCPD Supt Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said they received a call from a man who informed them of the 73cm-long, 50-cm diameter shell at around 4 pm.
"Investigations revealed that the shell was found by the side of a route used to carry harvested oil palm, nearly 3km from the main road,” he said in a statement on Saturday night.Efforts to dispose off the shell will be made when the bomb disposal unit arrives on the scene, he added.- Bernama
