Katanya, selama empat bulan, dia mengikuti beberapa aktiviti pendakian sebagai persediaan seperti menyertai Cameron Ultra Marathon di Cameron Highlands, Pahang selain mendaki Gunung Pulut dan Bukit Larut, Perak dan Gunung Rinjani, Indonesia.
