PETALING JAYA: OCBC Bank Malaysia Berhad dan Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad telah memeterai perjanjian untuk Kemudahan Pinjaman Bertempoh Hijau berbilang bahagian yang dinilai pihak luar untuk MFP Solar Sdn. Bhd. .
Pengarah Urusan, Pegawai Kanan Liputan Pelanggan dan Ketua Perbankan Pelaburan OCBC Bank, Tan Ai Chin berkata, transaksi itu merupakan satu lagi mercu jaya bagi pembangunan pasaran pembiayaan lestari domestik, terutamanya untuk menekankan pentingnya pinjaman hijau. “Kami telah mengambil satu lagi langkah untuk menentusahkan struktur pinjaman hijau dengan mendapatkan penilaian MARC dan amat gembira kerana telah mencapai piawaian Emas tertinggi,” katanya dalam kenyataan.
Ujarnya, dalam memberikan penarafan itu, pihaknya mempertimbangkan kesan alam sekitar positif projek solar atas bumbung yang bakal dibiayai, pematuhan kemudahan kepada Prinsip Pinjaman Hijau termasuk penggunaan penilaian luar bagi pinjaman hijau dan juga prestasi kelestarian yang diunjurkan bagi MFP Solar.
