: A security manager was fined RM3,000 by the Magistrate’s Court here today for obstructing public servants from performing their duties and using foul language, four years ago.
Paramver Singh was charged with voluntarily obstructing a police officer from performing his duties by refusing to identify himself under Section 186 of the Penal Code which carries a maximum penalty of two years’ imprisonment or a maximum fine of RM10,000, or both, if convicted. The offences were committed at the Inquiry Office of the Bukit Jelutong Police Station here at 5 pm on Sept 2, 2020.
