MPS are Elected by the people. What power is the government going to strip them of?
I always remembered that this lady MP who will resigned from important post such as PAC just because of personal but not for the people. I dont trust character to lead
Better not. They will find reasons to fire opposition chief Ministers and MBs. 😬 Let the power remain with the Sultans and Governors.
Elected officials should vacate their elected position(s) if they switch their party affiliation for any reason. A bye-election should then be held for the voters to decide to reinstate or replace that official. Power to the people - not the government nor the political parties.

government especially the executive branch shouldn't have that power.
