IPOH: The number of flood evacuees in Sungai Siput rose to 212 this morning from 207 yesterday.
A District Disaster Management Committee Secretariat spokesman said three more families were evacuated last night after their houses were inundated by flood water, bringing the total to 69 families. He said 57 families comprising 163 people are being housed at the temporary relief centre at Dewan Haji Mohamad Padil in Kampung Lintang.
