IPOH (Bernama): The number of flood evacuees in Hilir Perak rose to 226 on Sunday (Oct 20) night compared with 219 people at noon.

A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said all the victims were currently housed at the temporary relief centre at SK Changkat Jong, Teluk Intan near here.

He said the flood operation centre will continue to issue latest information on the flood situation and the number of victims involved from time to time. - Bernama
