update. True to its words, the company has recently released the Nothing OS 1.1.7 update for the Android smartphone and lo and behold, the device now has extra functionality when paired with the AirPods.
The update, firmware version S1.1.-221121-2306 is now available for download on the Phone and is around 79MB in size. After the update, you can enable the feature by going the ‘Experimental Features’ in the Settings menu. Of course, the update is not solely for enabling this extra AirPods feature as it also fixes several bugs, provide the November security patch as well as improve Nothing OS’ smoothness.
