BARISAN Nasional is providing a many opportunities for women to be involved in national politics, demonstrated by the coalition fielding 10 female candidates in the Johor polls, according to Wanita BN chairman Noraini Ahmad. In a statement today, she said the coalition had improved on the six female candidates fielded in the last general election, showing that the coalition was providing more opportunities for women’s issues to be brought to the state government.
