PETALING JAYA: A new Covid-19 cluster among hospital workers in Sarawak has been recorded, with a total of six positive cases so far, says the Health Ministry.

said the Hospital Sentosa cluster recorded five new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday .

“The first case from this cluster was a medical worker who experienced symptoms on July 13 and tested positive on July 19. Following that, investigations and active case detention were carried out and 61 people have been screened. “Of these, five tested positive and 56 tested negative. The cluster currently has six positive cases,” he said during a daily briefing on Tuesday .

Five of the patients were medical workers while another was from a cleaning company, and all six are currently being treated at the Sarawak General Hospital.
