No plans to bar entry of cruise ships yet, says Loke

Transport Minister Anthony Loke says there are currently no plans to bar cruise ships from entering Malaysia and any such decision will only be done based on the Health Ministry's recommendation. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, February 7, 2020.

THE Transport Ministry has no plans to bar cruise ships from entering the country due to the 2019 novel coronavirus outbreak. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the move will only be made if the Health Ministry made an evidence-based recommendation.
