The Health Ministry recorded no local Covid-19 transmission cases today, the first time it has reached zero since four months ago.Only one imported case was recorded as of noon today, bringing the total number of cases to 8,640, according to Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in his daily press conference at the Health Ministry.
He added that 21 patients have recovered, which brings the total figure of patients discharged thus far to 8,375, or 96.9% of total cases.Four patients are currently being treated in the intensive care unit , with two requiring respiratory assistance.
