PETALING JAYA: Walk-ins at off-site Covid-19 vaccination centres (PPV) for booster shots will no longer be allowed, says ProtectHealth Corporation, the government-appointed implementer of private medical practitioner participation in the immunisation programme.

This came following reports of long queues and crowding at various PPV in the Klang Valley by members of the public wishing to get their third jab of the Covid-19 vaccine.

ProtectHealth chief executive officer Datuk Dr Anas Alam Faizli said only those with appointments in MySejahtera should turn up at the PPV for their booster shot. "Walk-ins to off-site PPV are not allowed. It is by appointment only. Everyone will get their appointment by age de-escalation," said Anas when contacted on Tuesday .

However, those who are eligible or urgently seeking booster shots but have not received a MySejahtera appointment may also register on the waitlist at the PPV of their choice.

Be consistent in the decision. Just stick to by appointment for the booster shots. No more walk-ins at off-site PPV 😀😅 Khairykj DGHisham KKMPutrajaya

Kelangkabut samgat ppv upm pagi tadi Khairykj protecthealthco , total 2 jam 15 minit baru selesai

If mySejahtera is not MySuckjahtera, people wouldn't have resorted to walking-in.

Is this for the whole country or just klang valley?

It’s the same thing with shopping malls. When crowd control is not present, social distancing is almost impossible depending where you go. People nowadays go out purely for pleasure, not thinking of the pain that follows after infection.

Masih ada di ppv upm, kelangkabut, poorly manage

What does off site mean? Why is this info not shared by protecthealthco ? Why does reading an article make readers less informed than before? don't you have editors?

Wakeup call....Stay away from the death jab.
