PETALING JAYA: There will be no more social distancing measures on Rapid KL trains and stations come June 10 in line with the recovery movement control order (MCO), says Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd.

Its chief operating officer Abdul Hadi Amran said the standard operating procedures by the Transport Ministry allowed a 100% capacity of passengers on all rail services, except ETS and KTM Intercity.

"Social distancing markers in the trains and stations have already been removed," he said in a statement on Tuesday . However, safety and health procedures such as body temperature checks on staff and passengers, compulsory wearing of face masks and usage of hand sanitiser will continue to be in place, said Abdul Hadi.

A poor decision. Likely based on commercial rather than health considerations. Anyone going to overrule this?

But still semua kene wear mask, sanitiza hand. Baru rasa selamat walopon sesak dalam lrt.

MuhyiddinYassin, noorhisham, IsmailSabri60, weekasiongmp Didn't our PM, Health Ministry, Defence Ministry all said must practise social distancing ? So, why is RapidKL CEO say that social distancing has stopped cos of Transport Ministry allow full capacity ?

😂 And the sports minister is worried about changing rooms at public swimming pools!

Already dismissed by DS Ismail Sabri Yaakub. But this is interesting to note. Rapid Rail don't talk much with you and your ministry, DS weekasiongmp ?

What?! Why?!!!!

Should have just maintain the SOP

And so we wait for the 2nd wave 😡

Tak payahla panic guys, if they say it's allowed, we do our part and not follow it. It's up to us now to be disciplined, authorities have done their part. Let's jaga one another.

I hope this is a joke. The risk of covid infection in crowded space is very high. Please continue with the existing SOP. Retweet if you agree. DGHisham DrAmarMOH 501Awani malaymail ibrahimsaninet theedgemalaysia
