The Director of a leading beef distributor which had been hosting the event, Arthur Kong, said the German company needed advance notice to arrange for the German band and entertainment for the occasion and the F&B operators were unable to comply as the pandemic was still ongoing until recently.Previous Oktoberfests were enormously popular with revellers from Brunei as well as Sabah as it provided a once-a-year opportunity to get together and have a good time.
