No delay, Najib’s appeal hearing is set to begin on Thursday.

Former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak defence team’s appeal for an extension to postpone his final bid to clear his name over the SRC International scandal was denied by the Federal Court today.

However, Tengku Maimun said that all parties had been made aware since April that the appeals process had been fixed for hearing from 15 to 26 August. She said that Najib was well aware of the dates that has been fixed for the hearing when he decided to replace his former solicitors Shafee & Co with Zaid Ibrahim Suflan TH Liew & Partners.
