No drop in tourist arrivals despite smoke, says Johor exco

The Johor tourism exco says she has not received complaints on visitors falling ill due to the current poor air quality. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Seth Akmal, September 16, 2019.

TOURISM activities in Johor are focused indoors due to the current poor air quality, especially in the state’s north. State Tourism, Women, Family and Community Development Committee chairman Liow Cai Tung said despite the smoke issue, tourists arrivals, especially from Singapore, remain high.
