No drink-driving accidents recorded Sarawak in 18 months, say state police

Between January 1 and June 10 last year, 107 drink-drivers were caught in 73 operations in Sarawak, while only 57 were caught in the same period this year. – EPA pic, June 16, 2020.

SARAWAK recorded no drink-driving accidents in the last one-and-a-half years, police statistics show. Last year till June 10 this year, no road crashes or accidents involving drivers under the influence of alcohol were reported, state police traffic chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu told The Malaysian Insight.
